Activate TCP/IP on SQL Express Server 2014 and enable loopback IP with Powershell

An application which had to be deployed on several clients required the presence of a local SQL Server Express 2014 database. The TCP/IP protocol should be enabled and the state of the loopback IP should be set to ‘active’, in SQL servers network configuration.

You can automate both tasks with Powershell and WMI.
The first part is to enable the TCP/IP protocol in general. While this can also be made with a parameter in the ini file for the unattended setup of the SQL server, activating the loopback IP cannot.
